PREDATOR Plus components (DWSP-203) |

PREDATOR Plus plumbing diagram
Diagram shows PATHOGEN PREDATOR (DWS-POE) installed at water point of entry, providing complete practice protection against waterborne pathogens. BIOFILM OBLITERATOR (DWS-DPU) can be installed either before or after water heater. If installing before, valve the water heater input and continuing cold water supply to allow separate disinfection. MINERAL MIZER (DWS-SADI) and retractable red faucet (DWS-DIHR) are installed in the sterilization center. |
Overview
PREDATOR Plus processes municipal water to provide
- complete practice protection against waterborne bacteria, viruses and other pathogens at 15 GPM
- whole practice electric solenoid water shutoff ready to wire to the customer-provided kill switch panel
- bacteria-free operatory water for unlimited operatories
- biofilm-free dental unit waterlines that comply with EPA regulations and ADA guidelines
- mineral-free water (<1 ppm TDS) for autoclaves at up to 7.5 gallons per hour and a retractable red faucet for dispensing directly into autoclave reservoirs.
Storage
PREDATOR Plus includes a 3 gallon autoclave water tank.
DISPENSING
PREDATOR Plus includes
- a retractable red faucet for dispensing mineral-free directly into autoclave reservoirs.
Maintenance
- PATHOGEN PREDATOR (annual): DWS-RPKD; DWS-RPKF for low input pressure; DWS-RPKG for tankless toilets
- MINERAL MIZER
- annual: DWS-LDPF sediment/carbon block filter
- as-needed: DWS-LRDC2 when TDS > 10 PPM
- convenience: DWS-RPKS includes DWS-LDPF and DWS-LRDC2. Many practices proactively replace all filters annually to eliminate interruption of autoclave water.
Usage
The PREDATOR Plus is an ideal way for new or existing practices with operatories connected to building or dedicated operatory plumbing to comply with EPA water regulations and ADA guidelines for dental unit waterline contamination and eliminate autoclave water bottles. |

PATHOGEN PREDATOR (DWS-POE) (Components)
Eliminates noxious pathogens from your water supply |
|
Features
- Produces pathogen-free water from municipal water supply.
- Disinfects entire practice water supply using proven ultraviolet technology. Ideal protection against ‘boil water’ advisories.
- Introduces no chemicals into the water supply.
- Filters sediment, viruses & spores down to .5 microns.
- Removes contaminants, improves taste.
- Self-cleaning filter technology extends filter life.
Notes
- Install in equipment room after softener / iron reduction.
- Install pre-filter in known heavy sediment conditions.
- Specify “Low Pressure” or “Tankless Toilets” on PO for freer-flowing filter options. Ensure site has adequate municipal water pressure to operate tankless toilets.

BIOFILM OBLITERATOR (DWS-DPU) (Components)
Eradicates biofilm from your waterlines |
|
Features
- Manually sanitizes building plumbing and attached dental unit waterlines when office is closed.
- Uses compressed air to drive undiluted disinfectant into compressor-vacated plumbing.
Notes
- Install in equipment room after Pathogen Predator.
- To protect both hot & cold water plumbing, install before hot water supply branch. Valve both hot & cold systems for separate disinfection cycles (recommended).
- Attaches to onsite compressed air. No electrical required.
