Overview
HERO Gold processes municipal water to provide
- low-mineral water for instrument washer, operatory bottles & drinking water (not bacteria-free) at up to 8 gallons/hour.
- mineral-free water (<1 ppm TDS) for autoclaves
- zero-waste feature injects RO rinse water into hot water system to eliminate water waste.
Storage
HERO Gold includes a 3 gallon tank for mineral-free and 7 gallon high-flow tank for low-mineral water, ideal for Miele’s G7881 Dental Disinfector.
Dispensing
HERO Gold includes
- a stationary red faucet for dispensing autoclave water
- a chrome faucet for dispensing water into operatory bottles (add disinfection tablets) & for drinking water
- a dual garden hose manifold for instrument washer
Options
- DWS-BPA-PS: ¾” PVC bypass & dual electric solenoid water shutoff for HERO
- DWS-TKUP-14C: 10 gallon instrument washer storage tank upgrade, recommended for HYDRIM
Maintenance
- annual: DWS-RPKH2
- as-needed: DWS-LRDC2 when DI Monitor indicates TDS > 10 PPM. Keep 1 DWS-LRDC2 kit on hand.
Usage
HERO Gold is the ideal way for the practice with an instrument washer and operatory bottles with chemical tablet disinfection to eliminate autoclave water bottles. Upgrade to HERO Platinum to eliminate chemical tablet disinfection of operatory water. |
