Sterilization Products
Miltex offers a wide range of sterilization products that can be used in conjunction with the Universal cassettes.
CSR Wrap
The CSR wrap is suitable for steam, ETO gas and radiation sterilization processes. CSR wraps are monitored for thickness consistency and are electronically inspected for defects such as pinholes. CSR wraps are some of the lowest linting products available on the market.
Features include:
- Resists memory
- Allows faster steam penetration than muslin
- Repels water and operating room fluids
- Low linting
- Meets established standards for tensile strength and tear resistance
- Excellent barrier to airborne bacteria
- Accepts sterilization tape and labels
- Biodegradable
Available in three sizes - 15”, 20” and 24” square
Indicator Tapes
Indicator tapes are used to visually identify sterilized packs from unsterilized packs. Miltex Indicator Tapes are manufactured from a specially treated crêpe paper and are coated with a high performance, pressure-sensitive adhesive that will not come undone when subjected to wet or dry heat.
Features include:
- Adheres to any kind of material
- Distinctive color-change
- Accommodates pack expansion during sterilization
- Accepts labels and writing
Supplied in 60 yard rolls, the Miltex Indicator Tapes are available in steam, vapor and dry heat styles.
Steam Indicator Strips
Per CDC guidelines, a chemical indicator should be used with each load in conjunction with routine spore testing. The Miltex Steam Indicator Strip turns brown when sterilization conditions have been met and is certified for use with all steam sterilization processes.
Packaged 250 strips per box, the Steam Indicator strips may be maintained as a permanent record of sterilization |
