Amalgam carriers are used to carry and dispense amalgam into cavity preparations. Miltex offers an extensive line of amalgam carriers which includes:

Tungsten Carbide barrels
Delrin barrels
Stainless steel barrels

All Miltex amalgam carriers are color coded by size and are available in single or double end. They have a precision lever which is fast and effective for placing amalgam. The Tungsten Carbide barrels resist cracking, chipping and wearing. By maintaining the close tolerance between barrel and plunger, it effectively seals out amalgam and prevents bonding and clogging. The Delrin barrels also prevent amalgam from sticking to the barrel, and are lightweight and fully autclavable.
