Installation Instructions for
AS-9 Amalgam Separator
Central
Vacuum System: 2-4 chairs
-
Install the ASDEX
Manifold Head Assembly (2000D) in a location as
close to vacuum pump as practical.
-
The system needs to
be mounted in a vertical position.
-
Do not remove ty-wrap
from manifold until manifold installation is
complete.
-
Use mounting bracket
(MBK-1) to mount manifold.
-
Out port (note arrow)
goes to vacuum pump, in port (note arrow) goes to
vacuum line leading to dental operatory.
-
Remove and save the
two disposal caps from the ASDEX Separator.
-
Before installing
ASDEX AS-20 Amalgam Separator remove ty-wrap from
manifold head assembly.
Chair Side: Single
Chair

Install the ASDEX Manifold Assembly near chair.
-
The system needs to
be mounted in a vertical position.

Do not remove ty-wrap
from manifold until manifold installation is
complete.

Use mounting bracket
(MBK-1) to mount manifold.
