| The Margraf PID's (cones) are available for all makes and models of dental x-ray units whether new or old. For maximum protection from x-radiation exposure, Margraf PID'S are designed to exceed all federal and state requirements. Our PID's are completely Lead Lined to eliminate scatter and secondary x-radiation, yet are light in weight. |
Available in three lengths:
- The SHORT P.I.D. (8" Source-to-Skin-Distance) is for the bisecting-angle technique, or the standard practice of the profession.
- The INTERMEDIATE P.I.D. (12" S.S.D.) is used where operatory space is limited and the LONG CONE technique is desired.
- The LONG P.I.D. (16" S.S.D.) is for the Long Cone Paralleling technique, or where undistorted x-rays are desired.
